The
Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process,
Elder Ufot Ebong has
commended the Senior Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on
Social Reorientation, Elder Imoh Emeh for donating school uniforms to pupils of
QIC Primary school, Nket Abak, Ukanafun Local government.
Elder Ebong gave the commendation today at
presentation ceremony held at QIC Primary School field, Nkek Abak, Ukanafun
Local Government.
The Governor's Aide noted that investment in education
is the greatest investment anyone can ever make. He added that the act is in
support of the Governor's free and compulsory education.
He added " With the huge investment of the State
government in education, and you showing this kindness to immortalize your late
wife Late Mrs. Uduak Imoh Emeh, many of our children will have no excuse to
stay away from school".
The Donated 5 cartons of AKEES pencils to the school
pupils and cash to youths of the community.
Speaking earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to the
Governor on Social Reorientation, Elder Imoh Emeh described his late wife as a
woman that was passionate about children and their welfare adding that the
donation of uniforms is to immortalize her departure.
Others who spoke at the event included the Special
Assistant to the Governor on Trade and Market, Hon. Idoreyin Idorenyin
Raphael, Ukanafun chapter Chairman of Youths Caucus, Transition
Committee member, Political Stakeholders, Principal of QIC, Mrs. Grace
Aniefiok, Traditional Chiefs, clergymen and women leader.
