With determination to succeed against all odds, the Akwa Ibom State Female Youths
Association, today Monday April, 24'2017, stormed the Psychiatric

The cleaning exercise , led by the President/Founder,Edna Bassey, ranged from grass cutting, sweeping and mopping of the rooms and general cleaning of the environment to improve upon the living condition of the inmates who are females in majority.
The President further attested that the
exercise is geared towards aligning with the Dakkada philosophy as
initiated by the Governor Udom Emmanuel led sustainable development
leadership in the state.
"We are preparing for our first anniversary coming up Wednesday 26'04'2017 to commemorate the first year of our existence and as well prepare ahead of the two years anniversary of Governor Udom Emmanuel led administration which has further added value to Akwaibomites at home and in diaspora.
The Association
since establishment and birth has been fully supportive, adding value, a
solid ally of good governance and above all daring to be
unique/different from the conventional youth forums",Edna endorsed.
Being the first of its kind in the country, the State Female Youths Association is striving to live above board, stepping ahead where others ply their trade.
Fully and appropriately registered as a
body/organization aimed at projecting development, impacting and welfare
prone youth activities, the group believes with the lofty steps and
initiative taken so far, the sky remains that starting point not just
the conventional limit of growth and strides.
As they break in to launch their activities towards the first anniversary of the association come Wednesday 26'04'2017,10am at Ibom Hall Grounds with array of high profile dignitaries billed to grace the occasion, one can clearly see ahead the manifestation of the desire, passion,zeal and sincere energy of Akwa Ibom State Female Youths to re-invent themselves for the good and progress of the state polity.
