Galatians 6:7 KJV
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”
To think that things happen for no reason at all, is to be deceived. To imagine that actions will go without consequences is to be deceived. To even consider by any stretch of your imagination that there will be no rewards for good deeds is to be messed up in your mind. This was why Paul had to state it very clearly, “be not deceived...”
Firstly, you must know that life is a seed, and that at every given time you are either sowing a seed or reaping a harvest of seeds previously sown. Secondly, God has made it a statute and a law for life to give back to you what you put into it. He said in Genesis 8:22, that as long as the earth remained seed time and harvest shall not cease; and this was a Divine executive law and order, which cannot be broken by man or spirit. So, whatever sustains day and night, summer and winter, cold and heat, is the same law that governs seed time and harvest. If they have not failed, the seed time and harvest cannot fail.
Lastly, to think that God is not a rewarder is to either be an unbeliever or trying to make God a liar. Because He has said that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He is not unrighteous to forget your labour of love; (ref: Hebrews 11:6; Hebrews 6:10). God owes no man, has never owed any man and will never owe any man. And so whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap also. Live carefully, be sure to sow good seeds, be careful of what you do and initiate, because they all bring harvests dealings of all kinds.
Assignment
i. Repent of any kind of negative seeds you may have been sowing before now.
ii. Determine to live life and take all actions with the seed mentality.
Prayer
-Lord I know that the law of seed time and harvest cannot be broken. I therefore receive grace to sow positive seed with my life from today.
Nugget
Whatever sustains day and night, summer and winter, cold and heat, is the same law that governs seed time and harvest. If they have not failed, the seed time and harvest cannot fail.
