First Baba Isa (FBI), a popular Abuja lawyer and activist has called on the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to immediately effect the arrest of Nkechi Bianze and other women asking wives to take up arms against their cheating husbands. His post below:
A CALL FOR THE ARREST AND PROSECUTION OF NKECHI BIANZE AND HER COHORTS.
I don't get involved in Facebook drama; I never do.
But this is beyond mere drama: to call the cold blooded murder of a husband by his wife a revolution against men is criminal.
I therefore call on the Inspector General of Police to arrest and prosecute Nkechi Bianze immediately!!! (I will submit a formal petition to this effect on Monday when I return to Abuja).
She is clearly calling on women to start stabbing their husbands and boyfriends to death in the name of revolution. She is inciting a domestic violence of wild proportions. We can't stand by and do nothing.
I know the temptation to dismiss this as the case of another bitter feminist. But this is not feminism. Please don't associate something criminal with a genuine movement like feminism. True feminists have risen to condemn her actions.
The police must act now before this gets out of hand. Already her campaign is gaining momentum. People are beginning to quote her.
If this madness is not halted, it will certainly get out of hand. How can someone rise to support, excuse or even rationalise cold blooded murder?
#ArrestNkechiBianze immediately!!!
