Daily Success! Don't be spiritually Barren - Ezekiel Atang

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

A barren person is someone who is incapable of reproduction. It is a farm that is producing little or no vegetation; and they are usually called desolate. It is a soil producing inferior crops, etc. Not to be barren is to produce offspring, it is producing after your kind as God intended it in Genesis. He asked the animals to produce after their kind. Genesis 1:11,21 & 25. After man was created, He commanded man to be fruitful in a blessing. In other words, He told man not to be barren, both physically, spiritually, mentally and commercially.
 

Jesus came on the scene and was tasked to go into all the world and preach the gospel, convert sinners to saints, and then make them disciples. Then He said "as the father has sent me so send I you". And then He said "I chose you and ordained you to bring forth fruit, and that your fruit may remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in my Name will be done for you". Which seems to me that a time comes when God will look at our fruitfulness in terms of souls in other to bless us or answer our prayers. You judge for yourself.
 

Here are a few ways I suggest we can be fruitful.
 

i. Don't come to church alone:
Every person you invite to church stands a very high chance of getting saved on that very day. Remember Nathaniel and Philip?
 

ii. Be compassionate to the lost:
Always imagine the eternal destination of a lost soul. Endeavor to see them in their eternity and let that inflame your heart to both pray and witness to them.
 

iii. Let people thank God for you:
Become so effective in reaching out to the lost till people begin to thank God for your life. That means you are not barren.
 

iv. Let heaven rejoice on your account regularly:
Be the cause of joy in heaven each week, each day each month of each year by winning souls.

Assignment
i. Thank God for today's word.
ii. Systematically make all these four points your assignment for the rest of the year.

Prayer
-Lord I refuse to be barren in the spirit in Jesus Name.
-I receive the passion and compassion for the lost in Jesus Name.

Nugget
A time comes when God will look at our fruitfulness in terms of souls in other to bless us or answer our prayers – will you be blessed?
