The Attention of the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party in Central Uruan Ward 3 has been drawn to a fluke and devious
story on social media that members of the largest Political Party PDP
in our Ward have decamped to the All Progressive Congress.
If not for the mere fact that the lies told by the writer to deceive
the public could confuse the gullible , we would have loved to remain
mute as the people mentioned to have decamped are persons of
questionable character.
But we take consolation in the fact that the Minister of Works , Housing and Power , Mr Fashola had said few days ago, that, APC is like a church and Mosque ,which sinners run into for salvation.
So we therefore pray that the thieves that were chased out from Peoples Democratic Party in our ward few years ago will be transformed to saints.
We wish to use this opportunity to set the record straight , that, at no time was Mr Etetim Okon( Metikon ) a member of our great Party as he was shown the way out in 2015 December when he embezzled the sum of three million which belonged to elders of the Party .
Mr Etetim who at that time was the acting leader of our Ward , was suspended from the Party after several meetings were fixed for him to come and explain to the leadership of the Party how money meant for the empowerment of our members got missing in his position .
Mr Etetim who is known for his fraudulent activities switched off his phones permanently to avoid attending the scheduled meetings and continually lied to have travelled out of town.
After several attempts to peacefully persuade him to attend the meetings fell on deaf ears , the Party was left with no other option than to expel him from the party for fraudulent character capable of causing breakdown of peace and cohesion within members of the Party .
To others who were mentioned to have decamped to APC , How can Hon Kufre Etuk who was the Candidate of APC in 2015 election be listed as a defector to APC?
How can Obong Dan Akai who was the coordinator of the APC Gubernatorial Candidate in 2015 defect to APC?
How come Barr. Nyong Etim Udo who stood his last election in ACCORD party defect from PDP to APC?
How can Dr. Emmanuel Effiong, and Mrs .Theresa Edem who were members of Umana Okon Umana Campaign Organization in Uruan now defect to APC ?.
And the last time we checked, Mr Ekpe Nkom was a member of ACCORD Party who coordinated for Bishop Sam Akpan when he ran for governorship. ,Now they claim he defected from PDP to APC ?
The All Progressive Congress should note that all their Lies to Nigerians have failed and Nigerians will revolt against every attempt by the worthless Political Party with no credibility and integrity to continue to deceive them.
So coming to Uruan to peddled lies against our people will not be accepted by our people, Governor Udom Emmanuel performance in Uruan Local Government is beyond our thoughts and expectations .
So we have no reason or whatsoever moving from a performing Political Party to a Party full with deceptions
We therefore urge the leadership of the APC to retract the contents of the news story within 24 hours or we will be left with no option than to sue the worthless Party for damages for trying to link our amiable Party with people of questionable Character .
We accordingly charge of members of our great Party in Central Uruan Ward 3 to ignore the provocative propaganda and remain focused on supporting the party and government in the state.
We strongly believe the leader of our Party in the State , our amiable Governor , Mr Udom Emmanuel will restore what the thief has stolen from us.
Lastly the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Central Uruan Ward 3 , restated her commitment to support Governor Udom Emmanuel to succeed in his second term Ambition .
