Proverbs 11:25 NKJV
“The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.”
Most people will love to have someone or the other to blame for their
misfortunes and other mishaps that come to them in the journey of their
lives.
But perhaps the best thing that can happen to you in life is to take responsibility for certain outcomes of your life.
If you will ensure that there is no one to blame for the things you see in your life, then your life will drastically improve and you will become a very responsible and responsive person.
The generous person shall be made rich. If you are not rich then you have to check your life of generosity.
Because whatever comes to you is often a function of what is leaving you. A river that doesn't flow out into the sea cannot have other rivers flowing into it.
A river that does not give up water by way of evaporation will not experience rain fall. So, your life is a reflection of your giving.
To be rich in this life is to be rich in giving, and to be poor in life is to be poor in giving. A man is not as rich as what he has accumulated but in how much he has given out. Your giving capacity is your true wealth and not what you receive.
Let the book of Proverbs help us; “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.” (Proverbs 11:24 MSG)
These are very true words.
Receive the grace for generosity in Jesus Name.
