Text: Genesis 17:20
• God is a blesser. He blesses by nature and delights in blessing his people.
• The blessing of God is the fuel for multiplication (Genesis 1:28, Ephesians 1:3).
• God’s blessing has always been the foundation for all greatness recorded (Genesis 12:3).
• The moment we are called into Christ we are called into the blessing.
• Your foundation determines your future and fruitfulness.
• God is so blessed that He can bless anybody irrespective of who you are.
• The last person to give up on you is God.
• NO ONE is too rejected to be blessed.
• You cannot help where you come from but you can determine where you’re going to.
• NO ONE is too unserious to be blessed.
• NOBODY is too helpless to be blessed.
• God can bless and turn your life around at any stage of your life young or old.
• God can bless you despite what you have lost.
• ANYONE can access the blessing of God.
THE DISADVANTAGES OF ISHMAEL
• Ishmael was a child of iniquity. Your conception might have been accidental but your destiny had been planned by God (Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 9:6).
• Ishmael coming was against God’s word.
• Ishmael’s upbringing was that of rejection and abandonment.
• Lack of parental prophetic Abrahamic impartation. There is no record in the Bible where Abraham blessed Ishmael. As long as there is a voice speaking for you there is a tomorrow for you.
