Senator Ali Ndume was first removed as Leader of the Senate and has now
been suspended for six months, his people are sad and protesting his
suspension by the Senate.
Ibrahim Magu is rejected by the Senate, his people are kicking and are moving against the Senate.
Even many Akwa Ibom people are fighting the cause of all these persons mentioned above.
But:
Senator Bassey Albert is having a pre election matter in court- the people shouting crucify him on social media are preponderantly from Akwa Ibom
Hon. Nse Ekpenyong has a certificate case and is remanded, those mocking him are his kith and kin, even without knowing the full particulars of the case
If what happened to Senator Ndume befell Senate Minority Leader, Chief Godswill Akpabio, facebook and other social media would have crashed by now with Akwa Ibom people jubilating
I know there are many more decent Akwa Ibom people who look out for the interest of their own, but they should not allow this vocal minority that specialize in pulling their brothers down have their way. Its time for a rethink.
Like Obong Victor Attah said, Our lights will not shine brighter by putting a brothers candle off. Think Right! Be your brothers keeper!
