The State Executive Committee of PDP FAN CLUB Worldwide, Akwa Ibom State Chapter has been duly dissolved after the immediate past State Officers and Chapter Executive have served the Club for good four years.
It was observed by concern members and key stakeholders that immediately after the 2015 general election, some of our members decamped to the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the fate of the Club was in jeopardy.
All effort and entreaty to reposition the Club to achieve its set objectives was strongly opposed by retrogressive forces within.
After due consultation with the key stakeholders on the need to reposition the Club for optimum results, the State Executive Committee was finally dissolved to give room for the recomposition of a new Executive Committee and Chapters in the 31 local government area in Akwa Ibom State.
This decision was reached at the last enlarge meeting of the Club held at Discovery Park, Udo Umana Street, Uyo.
To this end, the recomposition of a new State Executive Committee and Chapters is ongoing and will be inaugurated by April 28 in Uyo.
The PDP FAN CLUB is a duly registered group with the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party and have participated in many activities of the party at the national, state and local government level across the country.
The Club was fully integrated into the Divine Mandate Project of Udom Emmanuel duly the electioneering campaign and will continue to support the governor for a second term in office.
We are grassroot mobilization group and will launch out immediately after the inauguration of the new executive by April.
