Dear people of Kogi West,
In order to recall your senator, INEC requires that you write a petition which more than half of the registered voters in the Senator’s senatorial district must sign alleging their loss of confidence in that senator.

The fastest way to organise this may be to approach the PDP Senatorial Office in Kogi West for assistance in providing a venue where people can come to append their signatures to the document .
Now don't worry, it doesn't mean you are obligated to vote them in. If they refuse, you can approach INEC to provide a space on their desk for people to sign the petition.
The petition must be signed, and arranged according to polling units, wards, Local Government Areas, and of course, constituency. Kogi West has 562 polling units, please be meticulous enough to get at least one signature from each polling unit ( You can do it)
Do not think of this as a tedious process, remember that you often use your voters card as ID when you go to the bank to collect money or cash cheques and that takes a bit of time too.
This should not even take as much time. Think of it as a small price to pay in order to free yourselves and your children from the curse of mediocrity.
Once INEC is able to verify just half of the signatures on the petition, it is mandated by law to conduct a referendum ( remember all it needed initially was half of the registered voters and then now needs only half of that to be verified , so you see the process is getting easier)
INEC is mandated by law to conduct a referendum within 90 days of receipt of the petition. (Don't worry it is worth the wait to vanquish you and your children from Dino Melaye; the sworn enemy of their progress) The referendum will be a simple yes or no vote on whether the Senator should be recalled, and will be decided by simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that Senator’s constituency.
If majority of the voters in the constituency vote ‘yes’ the Chairman of the INEC will send a Certificate of Recall to the Senate President to effect the recall and The Senate President( Saraki) will show affected senator ( Dino Melaye) the way out of the Senate.
In doing this, the people of Kogi West would have redeemed themselves from their mistake of sending a fraudulent, immoral fellow to represent their interest.
They would have sent the message for all times that Power in a democracy belongs to God and at all times in a democracy , He gives it to the people to use to choose those who would best serve the public interests! As God liveth, the People are the custodians of power and they can recall anyone who will not serve the people.
By recalling Dino Melaye, the people of Kogi West would have sent the message for all times that Nigerians are not fools!
