Its with great discomfort that this piece has to see the light of day on the dirty linen washing orchestrated by the power madness of Itu Political class.
It would have been okay if they kept their miscalculation to themselves rather than pitch The First Lady; Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel and the 6th Assembly in their public embarrassment.
Itu local government area is not the only and first local government area with a lady as Transition Chairman. Itu is not also the only local government area facing financial challenges as it where in this recession. Their cooperate embarrassment is monumental and shamefully so due to personal desperation of 2013 governorship intent on aspiration as pundits suggest.
It would have been shamefully disappointed if Hon Aniekan Bassey Etim of Uruan State Constituency could seat as Uruan representative in the hallowed Chamber while Our Transition Chairman(The Face Of Uruan) meets with public ridicule of any kind.
Having said that to say this,that the Shame of Itu on the floor of the 6th Assembly should Shame Hon Idongesit Ituen's pride as their representative. Its impossible to not hide disgust on this matter,especially as they have given room and reason for APC Apologist to attempt casting mud on a hardworking, widow saving, shelter providing, capacity building and health intervening mother of our Time; Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel. Idongesit Ituen should hide in shame for such avoidable disgraceful outing of that local government area.
Members of the 6th Assembly should be weary of expending their precious time on Itu underlining power tussle. Pride they say goes before a fall,a situation where a Transition Chairman and House member of a Local government area can not work things out in the confine of their home speaks volume of immaturity in leadership.
Of recent there had been stratagems accusing Mr Akan Okon from Itu local government area,seeking to drag him before the Assembly on frivolous claims of inflating budgets on Akwa Ibom State Airport,the said report on this platform has been loading since but will not see the light of day because its nothing but power play that will blow only ill wind against the manipulators.
Why is it always Itu local government area,what is so peculiar about Itu local government area?
2023 Governorship Election and Itu Numerous Problems.
Pundits claim that Governorship position has been zoned to Itu Ibiono come 2023 and Itu seem to have better stance.
It is believed that Hon Idongesit Ituen has the benevolence of age in his side, thus he works overtime to crush any possible opposition to his dream,whether there is any truth to such assertion or not, one really do not care because the emergence of Governor Udom Emmanuel as governor of this great state should teach all of us a lesson that Power truly belongs to God.
If Mr Udom Emmanuel can be governor, then anybody in government or out of government can be governor.
If Umana Okon Umana with all the powers and connections could not be governor, then no mortal strategy can make anyone governor of this great state. A word is enough for the wise and should tame this open show of shame.
Hon Idongesit Ituen is the point man of Itu local government area in the 6th Assembly so the bulk stops on his table.

" He who bring his thatch to the market square wants everyone to join hand in sewing it" - Ibibio proverb.
Hon Idongesit Ituen should understand that one does not put fire on the snake based on its length.
Head or tail,whatever ever happens on the floor of the 6th Assembly as it regards Itu local government that seeks to cast mud on the hard earned reputation of Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel remains his bane.
