“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
There are many reasons why we cannot suffer like the unbeliever out
there. It is not a wonderful thing to see us subjected and susceptible
to all that the world goes through.
Even when God allows us to go through things like them, we are meant to showcase the life and the glory of God in these challenges.
Our text reveals that the Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth, and that He will tell us things to come. No unbeliever has that kind of privilege.
The question now is, how many believers actually enjoy this privilege? Do we really get guided into all truth, and does the Holy Spirit tell us things to come? Well, not so in very many cases, but it is a provision that we have, just that we need to know how to activate the ministry of the Holy Spirit to make that possible in our lives.
When this ministry of the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives, our case will certainly be different. Here are a few ways to activate that help and assistance of the Holy Spirit.
i. Pray in tongues as regularly as possible - Romans 8:26-28:
Prayer in tongues makes your case different because you will be stirring the Holy Spirit to move to work on your behalf. You will get to receive divine signals and possibly God's clear voice as you pray.
Then, God who searches the heart, knows the mind of the spirit and then helps us to make intercession according to His will. The end result is that all things will begin to work for your good.
In such a charged state, God begins to drop divine direction, divine guidance, supernatural interventions, He even begins to make sure you do not go to certain places and do some things that would have caused you harm. Unlike an unbeliever who may have just ran into potential trouble for nothing.
Speaking in tongues dissolves mysteries and exposes hidden truths. It takes you out of the dark by allowing the light of God to shine into your spirit, thus giving you advantage in life over your contemporaries.

-Ask God to sharpen your prayer language even more in Jesus Name.
-Plan specific times in the day where you engage in the spiritual exercise of praying in tongues for a very long period of time.
