Proverbs 4:25 AMPC
“Let your eyes look right on with fixed purpose, and let your gaze be straight before you”.
About twelve years ago, I came across a cassette tape by my spiritual father (Dr. Paul Enenche); and the title of the message was “the battle of Focus”. There he made it so clear that Focus is a battle. The very moment you make a decision to order your life and to have some focus in your life, all hell breaks loose against you. Such that if you had a one-hour prayer time before now, and decided to strengthen yourself by making it a two-hour prayer time; you will soon discover that the one-hour prayer time soon becomes a huge struggle.
This just tells you that a battle line for your destiny was drawn, and satanic troops were released to break your focus to an abysmal low. For this reason, many people have become afraid to ever set goals or make any decision to deepen their commitment to focused living. But let me encourage you today by letting you know that your decision to be focus is a battle line drawn against your destiny.
Which means that the decision for focus is a derailment against the enemy’s plan to achieve their purposes in your life. So, it sets off an alarm in hell, and commences a battle against you.
The enemy knows that your focus or decision to focus will advance your life and God’s plans for your life and destiny. This also means that some distractions actually have demonic origin, and are not superficial or ordinary. My conclusion therefore is that a decision to be focused is a massive move towards destiny and a major slap to the enemy. Stand up and take back your life and establish some more Focus for your life in Jesus Name.

i. Take time to evaluate those areas of your life where you have not achieved much success, and develop a plan for strict focus.
ii. Pray, fast and study materials on how to be more focused.
iii. Thank God for answering your prayers for a focused life every day.
