Exodus 13:21 KJV
“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night”.
The things in the Old Testament are known to be a type and shadow of things to come. The New Testament is the very image of the things that the Old Testament spoke about. Which means that, all the Old Testament spoke about were just a fore taste of things to come. One of the things that the Old Testament spoke of was the way God leads and protects His people.
God led His people back then by the pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. This pillar of fire or cloud went before them to the place God wanted them to be. Now here are a few lessons to learn:
i. What was the pillar of cloud and fire in the Old Testament is now not physical, but is even more real than it was back then. Bear it in mind that there is a covering of cloud and fire over your life.
ii. The pillar of cloud and fire went ahead of them: When it moved they moved and when it stopped they stopped. They were never supposed to be outside that cloud ever for any reason. And I decree that your cloud is moving this year to your next level in Jesus Name.
iii. The cloud and fire were always visible: The fire showed up by night for clarity and visibility; its purpose was to illuminate our path. The cloud was for visibility as well. So, you could see it clearly. This means that God’s leading in your life will be as clear as day. You will not miss God in Jesus Name.
iv. Lastly, the cloud covers you by day, making you invisible to the enemy. While the fire hides you by night, making you untouchable by the enemy.
Receive the reality of this revelation in your life in Jesus Name.
