Romans 12:11 TLB
“Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically”.
One of the most popular causes of retrogression and stagnation is pure laziness. Laziness is disinclination to activity or exertion. It is the lack of energy and zest for work. Lazy people love to sleep and make a lot of excuses for why they are not progressing. Proverbs 22:13 says that a lazy man will say that there is a lion in the street. And Proverbs 26:14 also says “as hinges turn on door so does a lazy man on his bed”.
So, we see that lazy people are full of excuses; just as a cover up for their laziness. But a lazy man will never make progress until he admits that he is lazy. It is then and only then that he can be committed to dealing with it.
The next way to get rid of laziness is by setting goals on a daily basis. Do not sleep until you have jotted down things you must accomplish by the next day when you wake up. That note must end with when to wake up and how long you intend to fellowship with God. And lastly, ask the Holy Spirit to help you with wisdom and supernatural strength in Jesus Name.
Laziness will not stop us this year in Jesus Name.

-Lord I reject the spirit of laziness in Jesus Name.
-Laziness has no place nor portion in my life in Jesus Name.
-I declare that I am strong, energetic, vibrant and full of zest in Jesus Name.
