Daily Success! Birthing Vision - Ezekiel Atang

John 16:21-22 KJV
“A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you”.

So far, I have consistently likened the conception of vision to pregnancy. All you need to know about vision from the beginning to the end can be learnt from a woman’s pregnancy. After the conception and incubation (or gestation period) of a pregnancy, a birthing must take place. It is called delivery; and there are ways to know when it is time for the baby to be born.

As our text correctly points out, the moment of pain and travail is the time for birth. A woman becomes increasingly more uncomfortable as her delivery date draws near. She becomes heavier, and as the baby’s head sets around the pelvis region she begins to walk more carefully. So, it is with the birthing of vision. You become more restless, burdened, with a strong desire to pray even more when you are closest to the time of manifestation of your vision. There may be the fear of taking the first step, just like the fear in a woman who is a first-time mother. At this time, it is said that her hour has come.

Jesus’ hour came and His soul was vexed unto death and He prayed in agony the way He never did before. He was about to birth the church, and His spiritual cervix was ripening already. The pangs were increasing, to the point where His sweat became as great drops of blood. So, it is for a woman who is in labour. It is usually a tough process; things could be very slow and gruesome at this point. But if you hang on and keep at it, you will deliver and the vision shall speak and run its course in Jesus Name.

Grace to birth the vision you have always carried in your spirit in Jesus Name.

Action Points
i. Set yourself in a travailing position of prayer and fasting.
ii. Don’t be afraid to take your first step.
iii. Refuse to be discouraged by the low turnout or outcome of your first steps.
iv. Ask for grace to persist and press on.

Prayer
-Lord I receive all the grace I need to press on to the end in Jesus Name.

Nugget
You become more restless, burdened, with a strong desire to pray even more when you are closest to the time of manifestation of your vision.
