The ongoing voters registration sensitization exercise campaign team yesterday toured all the wards and villages in URUEOFONG/ORUKO LGA.
location: Urue-Offong /Oruko LGA.
The exercise which is targeted at doubling up the electoral strength in Oron Federal constituency for the interest of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), victory in the forthcoming election had several stakeholders and party stalwarts in attendance.
In Urueoffong /Oruko, the team was received by HON.ASUQUO ARCHIBONG; Member, representing Urue-offong/Oruku and HON.UMANAH EFUMBRUH; EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN URUEOFFONG/ORUKO LGA.
The team leader, Rt. HON. VICTOR ANTAI; HC. CULTURE & TOURISM, after the presentation of UDOM EMMANUEL 2019 T-Shirt to the chairman in his office, hit the streets of Urue-Offong /Oruko to all the wards and villages in the area sensitising the people on the need to improve the LGA's voting strength.
Hon. Antai, who was accompanied by all wards chairmen, councillors and youth leaders in Urue-Offong /Oruko tirelessly preached the gospel of Udom Emmanuel re-election. He told the people that Oron nation will benefit greatly from the good governance process initiated by the present administration adding that the course of reaping from government can only be achieveable when electorates go out and participate in the ongoing voters registration exercise to improve on the voters strength of Oron Federal constituency.
Ideally, with the pace of awareness campaigns and mobilisation initiated by the Hon commissioner for culture and Tourism, it is obvious that the voting strength of Oron Federal constituency in 2019 will trippled it's recent statistics.
