Knowing the serial and congenital liar called Godswill Obot Akpabio the way I do, methinks there is abroad a well choreographed campaign by the promoters and profiteers of the mismanaging PDP government in Akwa Ibom State to deliberately mislead especially the incurable gullibles that there is currently no love lost between Godswill Obot Akpabio and his protege, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
I am one of those who cannot be deceived by their craftiness; and I am writing this piece to generally warn Akwa Ibom people and, more specifically, the leadership, members and teeming supporters of the APC in the State that they should not allow themselves to be fooled again by this infantile ruse.
To put it bluntly, I write to expressly warn us that both Godswill and Udom share a strong filial bond in their criminal brotherhood that is focused on continuing in vampirising the commonwealth of Akwa Ibom and unconscionably pauperising the vast majority of its citizenry for their primitive and personal gains. There is no iota of doubt in me that the duo of Godswill and Udom are generating all the noisy spectre of some fathom feuds and getting their paid aides to publicly exchange ludicrous brickbats with the intent to conjure in our mind the existence of an imagery conflict.
THERE IS NO CONFLICT WHATSOEVER BETWEEN GODSWILL AND UDOM!
People, Akpabio and Udom are circusing this deceitful show, we must keep reminding us, for the sole purpose of psychologically anaesthetising and making us complacent. I seriously warn that drinking this sorcerous brew of complacency will induce impotence and unpreparedness on us; it will seduce us not to properly and adequately prepare. This unpreparedness will result in the consequent unmitigated ruin and undoing of APC in A'Ibom State in the general elections of 2019.
Let us not forget in a hurry the brigandage, executive thuggery, monumental thievery, scandalous bribery and the callous murder of A'Ibom youths the chap called Godswill Obot Akpabio engineered and visited upon us between 2013 and 2015 just to unilaterally impose Udom Emmanuel, the banker guy, Godswill told us, his wife "discovered." Have we forgotten how PDP register in Awa Ward in Onna LGA was forged overnight to show that Udom was a registered PDP member since Time began? Have we forgotten that whereas hundreds of pensioners were unpaid and dying of hunger, Godswill Akpabio dipped his fingers into the Akwa Ibom treasury and took out billions of Naira with which he sat with the "deacon" in Udom to bribe tens of hundreds of PDP delegates more than one million Naira each so that they must vote only Udom in the 2014 PDP governorship primaries? Have we forgotten how Akpabio lethally gangsterised our youths, armed and clothed them in fake police and army uniforms and how these spaced-out and misdirected felons murdered more than 30 Akwa Ibom youths on election day in 2015 so that Udom be governor? And the list goes on.
With chilling insights from some local government chairmen who were air freighted by a rookie governorship aspirant and Chiefly Commissioner to South Africa in May 2005 where diabolical oaths of allegiance were administered on them, it goes without saying that the fellow called Godswill Obot Akpabio cannot have gone into all these evil and nefarious byways without a cocksure assurance that his protege wouldn't renege on their mutual agreements.
In fairness to Deacon Udom Emmanuel and to the best of my knowledge, he has not personally and publicly reneged and/or betrayed his political tin-god. Never mind the spanners Ephraim Inyang tries to throw into the works from time to time. Everyone knows that despite the fact that Akpabio's government raked in excess of 4 trillion Naira in his 8 years of uncommon kleptocracy, he did not only leave behind a litany of abandoned and uncompleted projects, he got Akwa Ibom State and people so outrageously indebted. And because of the morbid fear of the dare consequences of the agreement he must have entered into, even the deacon in governor Udom is mortally afraid to let our people know the degree of economic leprosity he inherited from Akpabio.
My people, have we not watched in alarming stupefaction how Udom has called us "illiterates" and immodestly bragged about his stint in the Business School when we legitimately asked him to disclose to us how many Kobo Akpabio left in the till and how much indebtedness Akpabio got us into and to who and how?
Against this background, I insist that Akpabio and Udom are in total alignment in their criminal conspiracy against Akwa Ibom State and people. I further insist that all the noisy talk in the Press about a disagreement between the duo is nothing but balderdash designed to confuse the undiscerning. It is a strategic plot to deaden the alertness of the APC and cause their out manoeuvring during the general elections in A'Ibom State in 2019.
