Hebrews 11:24-27 KJV
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible”.
Vision is what you see that no one else can see. Vision is a preferred future that your mind had properly articulated and embraced. Vision is the tomorrow you can see today. Vision is the future you have seen and hope to feature in. Vision is inner sight; it is seeing things with your mind’s eyes. Paul the apostle called it the enlightenment of the eyes of your understanding. Ephesians 1:18.
Moses only became whom we now know him to be because of what he saw. Anyone who saw what he saw could have done what he did. There is no way we would have known of Moses today if he didn’t see something. What he saw is what we call a vision.
In the school of success, vision is critical and inevitable. You cannot arrive a place that your eyes have not seen. One way or the other, you must have seen it or had an idea of it before you can successfully make your way there. The lack of vision does not induce enough drive and energy needed to succeed. Things are first created in your spirit or mind before they manifest in the physical. What makes or defines a man is not what you see around him, but what drives him from the inside.
The stronger the drive, faster the success. The very first vision Moses saw really drove him hard against all the resistances and stubbornness of Pharaoh.
Moses for one, only succeeded because he could see what others could not see. He saw Him that was invisible, and as a result he accomplished the impossible. He also saw the freedom of his people, and that made him to despise the pleasures of Egypt for a season. He had great respect for the recompense of the reward. What he saw made him refuse to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. That was a privilege that anyone would do anything to keep; but not when you have a vision. He forsook Egypt and ran into the wilderness in search of destiny, all because of what and whom he saw. The scriptures say he endured because he had seen Him who is invisible.
In this year 2018, receive grace to see the invisible and thereby accomplish the impossible in Jesus Name.
Actions Points/Prayer
i. Ask the Lord to plant a vision for 2018 and beyond in your heart.
ii. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal details about your future to you in Jesus Name.
iv. Ask the Lord to give you insight into the invisible realm, and of things that are not yet obvious in Jesus Name.
Nugget
