1 Samuel 9:3-4 KJV
“And the asses of Kish Saul's father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses. And he passed through mount Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalisha, but they found them not: then they passed through the land of Shalim, and there they were not: and he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they found them not”.
In life, things don’t just happen. Almost everything that happens in life, happens to fulfill a purpose. We are the once who end up saying things like, “oh what a coincidence”, or “it happened as if we planned it”. The truth is, God has everything all planned out, since before the foundation of the earth. Israel wanted a king, and God determined to give them one. But He went about it in a most dramatic manner. Saul’s father, Mr. Kish ends up losing some of his donkeys and Saul his son was asked to go look for it. Little did Saul know that he was embarking on a journey of destiny that would forever change his life for good.
In the course of looking for those donkeys, Saul went through a few places. These places prepared him for the throne without his knowing it. He went through mount Ephraim, He went through the land of shalisha, he went through the land of Shalim, and then he went through the land of Benjamin, and he did not find these donkeys. While people may have seen him to have suffered in looking for these donkeys, God was busy preparing a king for himself.
You may be going through a lot right now in your life, and you may think you are suffering because you want to get a degree, so as to survive. But I have news for you, it is not because of any of those reasons. Rather, you have been on a journey of destiny all along. All the people and things you went through were all components of the mounding machine needed to bring you to your throne. There is a place God has prepared for you, and you have only been going through your preparation for it.
Receive grace to successfully go through your preparation for destiny in Jesus Name.

i. Start thanking God for all you have gone through and are going through.
ii. Ask the Lord for grace to learn all that you need to learn.

-Lord I thank you for all the things I have had to go through in Jesus Name.
-I now know it had been a journey of destiny all along. I receive grace to stay on track in Jesus Name.
