Adedayo Adeyemo, an Ekiti state pastor has asked the Ado-Ekiti Customary court to dissolve his marriage of nine years to his wife Kemi on the grounds that she is lazy, doesn't care for the children and turns a deaf ear to correction. He also prayed the court to award him custody of his children aged nine and five years.
The 38yr old who is the pastor of Joint Heir Assembly of God, Ado-Ekiti said:
“My wife is a lazy woman; she does not sweep the house, prepare food for the children or bath the children. “I cook for the children."
The President of the Court, Mrs. Olayinka Akomolede adjourned the case till Jan.18, 2018 for further hearing.
