The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) organized sensitization walk against corruption earlier billed to be held on Saturday, December 9, in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, has been shifted to Monday, December 11, 2017.
While no reason has been given for the postponement, a release signed by Head of Public Affairs (Uyo Zone), Theresa Nsowu, indicates that the take off point and time remain unchanged.
The walk is billed to commence by 7:30am at the takeoff point, EFCC No. 4 Akparawa Crescent, Edet Akpan Avenue (4Lanes), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The event is held to commemorate this year’s edition of the United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day.
The United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day is commemorated globally on December 9.
