2 Peter 3:9 KJV
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”.
The heart of God is one of the strangest hearts you can ever know or find in the world ever. God is not like many have presented Him in times past. He has been seen as a God who constantly holds a stick over our heads looking for what new wrongs we do in order to knock us; and many such things that have been said and portrayed about Him. But one side of God not frequently discussed is His mercy, love and kindness. God is stupendously merciful, He is strangely gracious and He is unreasonably kind.
For instance, In Jeremiah 3:31 He said He has loved us with an everlasting love and drawn us with His loving kindness. In Romans 2:4, it is revealed that God uses His loving kindness to draw us to Himself and not judgement nor condemnation. And our text reveals God’s heart towards mankind. And they are as follows:
-God is very patient towards us: The Bible calls it long-suffering. He can be so patient with a sinner, He can be so forgiving and full of many second chances. Someone said that God is not a God of second chances but a God of many chances. We exhausted our second chances very many years ago.
⁃ God is very unwilling to punish or to allow anyone to die without the knowledge of God: That is why all the attempts of satan on your life all the years you lived without Jesus all failed. God was simply unwilling to see you die in sin. And He is presently very unwilling to see anyone die in sin as we speak.
⁃ You need to make every unbeliever friend you have to know this: Tell them about the heart and love of God until every single one of them is saved in Jesus Name.

Prayer
-Lord I thank you for your heart towards me and the entire world.
-Thank you for your patience and long suffering all those years of my sinful life.
-Lord please make me a blessing to my world. Please equip and empower me to share this love to the world in Jesus Name.
Nugget
