John 4:35-36 KJV
“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together”.
There are a few things to learn from this passage of scripture regarding our assignment of evangelism; and they are as follows:
-There is a massive harvest of souls out there: A vast majority of unbelievers you see each day are ripe and ready for salvation. All that is left in many cases is for some willing vessel to open their mouths and say “Jesus loves you”, or “can I pray with you?” And you will be shocked at the kind of positive response you will get.
- If these souls are not harvested, they will become over-ripe and fall down from the trees and go bad. This means some devils will harvest them for his own purpose. They are hungry for the supernatural and could go either way, depending on who speaks first.
-God is desperate to harvest these ripe souls, but He will not come and do it by Himself; rather He will need harvesters or labourers like you and me. God is willing to pay, and has promised to pay whoever will go and reap for Him. There are those that have sown the seed of the gospel, God pays them too for sowing. Just because a person you witnessed to did not get saved does not mean God will not bless you for it, someone else will come and harvest that soul, just like you will also harvest souls from seed that others have sown. But the ultimate truth is that God will pay you, and I mean literally. He will give you wages. You can actually decide to make a job out of winning souls and get payed by God; and God pays well.
Grace to step into the field of harvest in Jesus Name.
Assignment
i. Get into an agreement with God today to harvest souls for Him.
ii. Know that God pays, and faithfully sow seed to the gospel and harvest for Him at the same time.
Prayer
-Lord I thank you for your promise of wages for the harvest in Jesus Name.
-I step into the fields of harvest of souls in Jesus Name.

You can actually decide to make a job out of winning souls and get payed by God; and God pays well.
