Daily Success! Love without giving is fake - P. Ezekiel Atang

John‬ ‭3:16 NKJV‬‬‬‬
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

It is amazing to see how many people who claim to love God or people, without anything to back their claim. It is wrong to say you love, yet you are not giving. Love is proven by giving even though giving is not always a proof of love. But your God and my God spoke about love for the very first time in the book of John, and He equated it with giving. The only way to prove that He really loved the world was by His giving.

The only way God could prove that Abraham loved Him was in the offering up of Isaac. God Himself said, "now I know that you fear (love) me". Your giving is a confirmation of your love to God, to your spouse, to your children and to your church. Love provokes giving in the first place and then it makes it easy to do.
 

The absence of giving in any relationship makes it go cold or even die. Your relationship with God could die a natural death where giving is lacking. Give God your time, give Him your resources, give Him your energy, give to His projects, give to programs like Singles Frank Talk, give to our couple’s outreaches, give Him your pains and successes. 

Most of all, give him your life. Make Him the Lord of your life. He gave you His life as a seed so you can give Him the harvest of your life too. Love Him and Give to Him today.

Assignment
i. Become more faithful to all the givings you set out to do this year.
ii. Take up some kingdom and church projects to give to on a monthly basis.
iii. Ask God for the spirit of generosity.

Prayer
-Lord please fill my heart with liberality in Jesus Name.
-Father, please cause me to naturally flow in liberality in Jesus Name.

It is wrong to say you love, yet you are not giving because love is proven by giving.
