Mark 11:24-26 NKJV
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Virtually all the promises of God have conditions attached to them, and these conditions are not difficult decisions at all, because Jesus said "my yoke is easy and my burden is light", (Matthew 11:29-30). God will never ask you to do what you cannot do, nor what He has not empowered you to do. God only calls out of you what He has put in you. The faith to move mountains is great and very much needed in our individual lives and as a church. But that faith has conditions for it to function properly.
The condition for the working of a mountain moving faith is Forgiveness. If you cannot forgive your brother, sister or neighbor then your mountains will never hear your voice nor respect your command. When you operate in unforgiveness your voice will become unfamiliar in the spirit realm, and as such will lose its punch and respect. The reason for this is because faith works by love, and forgiveness is a major sign of love.
Galatians 5:6. And so all the faith in this world will be useless until love flows from your heart in forgiveness.
There are many believers who wished there was no such thing in scripture. The reason it is there is because love is the essential nature of God, and that is why He is so forgiving and patient. So, if you are in His image, then you must show forth that nature of His for your faith to make meaning and gain weight in the spirit in Jesus Name. You have the ability to forgive, forgiveness is right inside of you, no matter what was done against you. If you have been forgiven by God, then you too can forgive in Jesus Name
Assignment/Prayer
-Ask for mercy over anyone you have not been able to forgive; and pray for them.
-Ask God for the grace to let go and to move on.
-Ask the Lord to heal your heart of every pain, offense and any other ill feeling in Jesus Name.
Nugget
