The Chairman House Committee on Education, member representing Mbo state constituency in Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly, Hon Samuel Ufuo said that the plan closure of 854 illegal schools operating in the state by August 31,2017 by government was meant to raise the standard of education and not to witch hunt anybody as erroneously believed in some quarters.
Ufuo said this today in an exclusive interview in his office at the Assembly complex when contacted to make more clarification on the planned closure as the chairman House committee on education.
He maintained that the affected schools were duly informed before the release "
