Mark 2:3-5 KJV
“And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”
Faith can be seen, heard and felt. Faith is not meant to just be a thing of the heart, but a thing for the eyes to behold as well. Many times, nothing will change until your faith becomes visible.
God needs to ‘see’ your faith sometimes to determine your level and what you deserve.
three friends of this paralyzed man had three unique features, and they are as follows:
-They had faith for their friend's healing: They had no doubt about his healing.
-They had faith in the power of Jesus to heal their friend: They did not doubt Jesus' power in any way.
-They had the resolve to see to his deliverance, that was what brought them thus far to the point where they were.
They completely carried their friend all the way, but there was something they did not have; they did not have a direct access to Jesus because of the multitude.
He was in the house and every avenue to him was blocked completely, this was the only problem they had.
However, they were determined not to go back with a sick friend. They did not want to carry him back, but they wanted him to walk back home.
So, they decided to do the impossible; they approached the only place where no human was found, and that was the roof. That singular act caught the attention of Jesus, and that made their faith visible.
So, the scriptures say "when Jesus saw their faith", He spoke to the man and forgave his sins, and the man was made whole. God has heard enough of your faith, it is time to show Him with some actions of faith.
Receive grace to act out your faith in Jesus Name.
