The Registrar of the Abia State Polytechnic, Dr (Mrs) Constance
Evuline, today appeared before the Federal High Court sitting in UYO.
She confirmed that Nse Ekpenyong was given a National Diploma certificate in Public Administration by the Abia State Polytechnic and not Business Administration as claimed in the petition against him.
The registrar further maintain that Nse Ekpenyong was at no point in
time a student in the department of Business Administration to earn him a
Diploma as it is claimed in the petition by EFCC.
Dr. Constance Evuline
told the court that the certificate with the name Ekpenyong, Nse
Bassey, Department of Public Administration was duly signed and approved
by the Abia State Polytechnic. She concluded that a letter was written
to EFCC on demand.
The original certificates of Rt. Hon. Nse Ekpenyong were tendered
before the court as evidence. Now the truth of the matter is that the
much circulated Business Administration certificate was forged to
blackmail the personality of Rt. Hon Nse Ekpenyong, Honourable Member
Representing Oro Federal Constituency.
The matter has been adjourned to 4th May, 2017.
