1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

Many have wondered why their harvest don't seem to come as at when due. Many also wonder at the many battles that surround their harvest seasons, such that when something they had prayed and believed God for is about to come to fruition, then and just then all manner of wrong and terrible things begin to happen. Many even say things like "but I sowed my seed, and I have been sowing, what is going on?"

The reason is that planting has its own protocol. Planting alone will not give you harvest; there has to be watering also. If you fail to water your crop, it's seed would die in the ground.

This is also spiritual because your physical seed is meant to produce harvest for you in the spirit and until there is a watering, the increase of harvest that God is supposed to bring may not come.

Paul planted, but God had to make Apollos to do the watering, and it is then that God brought increase.

Here are a few ways to water your seed in the ground.

i) Thanksgiving is a major way to water your seed according to Psalm 67:5-6. When you praise God, then the earth shall yield her increase for your God will bless you.

ii) Speak positively about your expectations. Don't fall into the temptation of murmuring and complaining over a matter for which you have prayed and even sown seeds. That could cause a spiritual abortion.

iii) Give your tithe to God. And don't just give your tithe, but do it with love in your heart. Even though tithe is a payment of some sort, yet if God doesn't see love in your release of it, it could cause delay in your blessing.
In the New Testament anything done without love is not acceptable to God. But tithe is what opens your heavens for God's rain to come on your seed for subsequent harvest.

Receive all the grace and wisdom you need to guarantee your harvest in Jesus Name.
