In the light of the above and before jetting out to China, Gov Okowa disclosed that;
"no stone will be left unturned in our quest to bring substantial and quality development to Delta State.

"I want to see caterpillars, graders, folk lift and all manner of light and heavy duty construction equipment working at sites in and around the three Senatorial districts and 25 local government areas. This is critical because we need more good roads to facilitate the movement of goods and services.

"We need to construct bridges, tunnels and underground road networks were necessary; real development is ongoing in Delta State and must be expanded untill our towns and villages benefits substantially from the good governance initiatives of this administration.

"Construction signposts indicating; "Men At Work" must be seen everywhere in the State while our women and youths are gainfully employed either as professionals, skilled and unskilled labourers, Site Engineers, suppliers or procurement experts, and contractors generally.

"Small and medium scale businesses can only thrive in an atmosphere where socioeconomic remodelling masterplan is pursued with doggedness, genuine intentions and determination. I will not slack, God will empower this administration to achieve uncommon results.

"We are constantly taking strategic steps never to be a "father Christmas" government but as a highly proactive one with strong desires to gradually take our people from the shackles of acute poverty to a state where prosperity is guaranteed for all Deltans.

This is my focus and I shall ensure that we leave a superb legacy behind by the time we are done in 2023.

"The China-Nigeria Business/Investment Forum is another unique opportunity for this administration to engage core Chinese and Asian investors to bring into Delta, billions of dollars investments in the area of agriculture, huge infrastructure construction, science and technology and so on and so forth.

"We promised Deltans prosperity which is why I must do everything within my powers as the peoples governor to deliver quantitative and qualitative dividend of democracy."

Gov Okowa further assured Deltans of his commitments and determination to reach out to the international business community with the sole aim of attracting investment and development to the 25 LGAs as captured in the SMART AGENDA and PROSPERITY FOR ALL DELTANS mantra.
