Hon. Robinson Uwak former Reps member representing Oro Federal Constituency, allegedly involved in
blackmailing Hon. Nse Ekpenyong with certificate forgery has been apprehended by police
since yesterday and is right now cooling his feet off in police custody
at Asokoro Police Station, Abuja.
He was rounded up by the police for
duping one Mr Alexander Ekuche from Abia State the sum of one hundred
million naira. His rickety, clunker Range Rover has been impounded by
the police. The police have also seized his mobile phone which does not allow him access to his friends or relatives and his lawyer.
According to information made available to SSB, it appears the Honorable member has been denied access to his lawyer by the police and could be arraigned in court Monday.
