
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in conjunction with the
Nigerian Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is about now sitting at the
Federal High Court, Uyo, in the matter of a petition written to the ICJ
by the Akwa Ibom Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the
wake of the 2015 general elections that witnessed wanton killings,
maiming and kidnapping of APC supporters during the last PDP administration in the state.
According to the publicity secretary of the party, Barr Edet Bassey, The ICJ will be sitting in Uyo for 4 days; from today 24th to Thursday, 27th April 2017. Interested members of the Public are enjoined to be part of the ICJ hearing.
