Polokwane - Controversial prophet Lethebo Rabalago, who sprayed members of his congregation with a household insecticide aerosol, will appear in the Limpopo High Court on Monday.

Limpopo Health Department spokesperson Derrick Kganyago said the department had been granted an interdict by the Limpopo High Court to stop Rabalago from spraying the poisonous Doom insecticide on his congregation.

The unorthodox preacher from Mount Zion General Assembly made the news recently when he claimed that spraying Doom on his congregation would heal them.

Kganyago said the department had wanted Rabalago to first be mentally evaluated.
