In line with his vision for stronger
synergy in security and in the pursuit of his quest for a safer Nigeria
in particular and a more secured World in general, IGP Ibrahim Idris has
arrived at Abu Dhabi in the UAE, where under the patronage of His
Highness, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United
Arab Emirates, he would rub minds with members of the Interpol, at a
conference entitled titled ‘Unity for Security’.
The conference is organized in conjunction
with the United Arab Emirates and the INTERPOL Foundation for a Safer
World, which would take place from the 28th to 30th March 2017.
The
conference would bring together ministers with security portfolios,
senior police officials and representatives from the private sector, to
collectively address common issues.
‘Unity for Security’ will enable participants to identify their responsibilities in implementing a global policing architecture, aimed at combating future security threats.

Counter-terrorism, Organized, Emerging Crime and Cybercrime,
which are the central concern of the Interpol, would be in the front
burner of the three-day event.
