Electricity consumers in Jos have protested the billing system of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC).
Residents in the Plateau State capital took to the streets on
Wednesday to register their displeasure over the billing system which
they described as outrageous.
They asked the management of the JEDC to consider a downward review
of tariffs and status of the new pre-paid meters which they said should
replace the estimated system.
