Proverbs
28:20 NKJV
“A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will
not go unpunished.”
Faithfulness is constancy in something. It is the
ability to be consistent in a practice in fair and rough weather. Faithfulness
is to be trustworthy and reliable. When you are not faithful, it wouldn't
matter how able and professional you are; it wouldn't matter to those who have
anything to do with you. They will never be able to work with you for long. You
will never be able to last in any place of worth.
Faithful people are naturally patient people; they do
not believe in overnight successes as such. Our text says they shall abound
with blessings, meaning that they shall increase with blessings. They are not
afraid to start small, and they can stick to a thing they believe in till it
comes through for them. They are not people of short-cuts, and you may overtake
them, but they will eventually catch-up with you and overtake you permanently.
When they go up, they never come down.
When all is said and done and we appear before God, we will not be rewarded
according to our gifts nor speed nor influence, but according to our
faithfulness. Matthew 25:14-23. Each person who was faithful in that scripture
was rewarded with cities, all because they were faithful over little things.
Other routes to success may be successful or not, but the path of faithfulness
is a sure, failure-proof path to real success. That was why God seriously
acknowledged faithfulness than anything else.
Be faithful and you will succeed in life.
Assignment/Prayer

-Ask God to take away every trace of crookedness away from your life.
-Lord I know you are a faithful God, please release the spirit of your
faithfulness into my spirit in Jesus Name.
Nugget
