God made a declaration in Genesis 8:22 after the flood that as long the earth endures seed time and harvest time will not cease. What is seed time and harvest time? Seed time and harvest time is sowing and reaping. It is investment and returns. It is shares and dividends. It is giving something and expecting something in return.
It is expected that what you sow is usually small in comparison to what you get. What you sow is also what you have that you bring to the exchange table. It could be sweat, it could be brains, or it could be blood.
This exchange is always in motion, it is ever in operation. A seed is anything that you have in the present that properly invested can bring pleasure and profit in the future. Time, prayer, study, compassion, mercy is a seed.
Every action you take is a seed that is programmed to produce a harvest. When you show up at the place of work, you are sowing a seed. The salary you receive at the end of the month is your harvest. When you invest in your children you are sowing a seed, when they grow up and become establish, the pride and joy you feel becomes your harvest.
you are a walking warehouse of seed. Every action you take or fail to take is a seed. This moment is a seed and what you do with it will determine the harvest it can produce for you.
You will live in the fruit or the harvest of the moment. So what seeds are you sowing? The choices and decisions you make are the seeds for your future experience. Good choices are good seeds that will produce pleasant future experiences, and bad choices are evil seeds that will produce unpleasant future experiences.
You are always sowing seed and reaping a harvest. Your thought life is a continuous process of seed sowing and reaping. When you think good thoughts you will reap a harvest of good feelings, and when you think negative thoughts you will reap the harvest of bad feelings.
When you understand that everything you do or fail to do is a seed that will produce future experience, it will caution you and make you more deliberate it the actions you take or fail to take and in the thoughts you think or fail to think.
Even right now you are breathing in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide, it is sowing and reaping. Death in any aspect of your existence is when this exchange process of sowing and reaping is stopped and life is when this exchange process is activated.
