Scripture Reference: 1 Chronicles 28:20
"David continued to address Solomon: “Take charge! Take heart! Don’t be
anxious or get discouraged. God, my God, is with you in this; he won’t
walk off and leave you in the lurch. He’s at your side until every last
detail is completed for conducting the worship of God.
You have all the
priests and Levites standing ready to pitch in, and skillful craftsmen
and artisans of every kind ready to go to work. Both leaders and people are ready. Just say the word.”
Message:
Take charge! Take heart. That is the message David had for his son, Solomon.
For many years, David had yearned to build a house for the Lord but unfortunately, God told him that this was a work that needed to be done by his son, Solomon.
Solomon,however, was young and inexperienced, and even though he knew he had a mandate from God, he was intimidated by the prospect of building a great house of worship, one that would be a dwelling place for the Most High. You can probably understand his apprehension.
But his father David had some good advice for him. He told his son not to fear and to be anxious of nothing. He reminded him that there were destiny helpers that God had already placed on his path that would help him and that God would not stop working with him until every last detail of the temple was completed.
Men were ready to be summoned to work. All he needed to do was not to pray, fast, or intercede but to simply say a word!
Action Point:
Perhaps you have some changes that need to be made. Maybe you need to build your dream up, your ministry or your marriage. Maybe it's a far fetched goal or an aim that seems unreachable.
God is saying to you today, all you need to do is say a word! That's it. Say the word and He will ensure that the work you need to be accomplished will be established.
Someone may ask, "Prophet, is it that simple?" The answer is, "Yes." If you say it with faith and believe in your heart that it is done, He who started a good work in you will carry it on till the day of its victory.
Whatever your individual needs may be, remember the words of David, “Take heart! Don’t be anxious or get discouraged. God, my God, is with you in this; He won’t walk off and leave you in the lurch."
