Psalms 8:3-8 NKJV
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and
the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of
him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a
little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and
honor.
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet, All
sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And
the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.”
Things do not happen the same way for everyone. There are people that devils cannot touch or play around with.
There are people who cannot lose their jobs like others because their case is different, there are those who will rather be experiencing promotions because their cases are different. Here are a few reasons why your case is different.
1. YOUR GOD IS DIFFERENT - Isaiah 45:5:
He is not like the other gods that were made by human hands. There is no opposite to God, the opposite of God is not satan. satan does not come anywhere close enough to be an opposite.
God is so mighty that when He wanted to swear, there was none to swear by, so He swore by a Himself. That is why your case is different.
2. YOU HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE CLASS OF GOD - Genesis 1:26-28:
John said "ye are of God little children". 1John 4:4. This means that you hail from God. In Psalm 8:3, an angel had to complain about the kind of preference God has for man. God did not even give His image to the angles as powerful as they are.
He gave it to man only, that is why your case is different. Satan is not in your class, demons are not in your level. You are by far too superior than them all. You can command, order and cast them out.
3. ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN PUT UNDER YOUR FEET – Ephesians 1:22:
Since you are in Christ and all things have been placed under His feet, it therefore means that all things are place under you as well. You have been placed in charge and you have been put by God in this world as His representative to make sure things are in order.
So, you have the right to put things back in order with your spiritual authority where you see them go wrong.
Remember whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth is loose in heaven. Matthew 18:18.
Assignment
i. Read today's devotional again and make sure you understand it.
ii. Ask God for grace to begin to take responsibility as His representative on earth.
iii. Build a very strong and intimate relationship with God from today.
Prayer
-Lord I receive the grace to represent you well in Jesus Name.
-I will not fail you in this earth in Jesus Name.
