A photographer, Samuel Offong popularly known among friends as Paparazi has been reportedly robbed and shot dead by armed robbers at his residence in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
News of the untimely dead of the young promising photographer filtered into town and went viral on social media on Sunday afternoon leaving friends and relatives with unanswered questions on why should these dared devil armed robbers kill Paparazi even after he was robbed?

I mean the ones the community will be able to pay and provide good arsenals for. Everyone should own an ID card. Go and make yourself an ID card! Police is not your friend, don't be deceived. This government is different. I have witnessed police men run into hidings when they heard gunshots from robbers afar. They don't even have good weapons except guns! They don't have trained bull dogs, no quality detecting machines, stop and search check points in Nigeria is just like drama. I said it! Young people are dying everyday through arm robbery attack. Police
usually arrives just after the robbers had gone five hours later.
Form a vigilante group. Register your vigilante group free of charge at the police station. Forget Nigerian security agencies.Don't come here and preach to me about how police men are humans! I don't wanna hear it! The guns arm robbers use are sold to them by most police men.We should help ourselves!

*Waking up dis morning to behold dis sad news of my brother, friend, classmate gone at a tender age is very heartbroken, I am saddened becos Oro has lost a potential and none can fill dis void dat has been created. Sammy, I and Mkpoikana (Oscar) were in d same department (RTV)and after several years of leaving secondary school we still find ourselves in d same line of business which is "Photography" with this I have always been happy that Oro has gotten the best hands in terms of this trade n it is quite unfortunate that we have lost a rare gem. I am so certain that those involve is wicked act will be caught and be made to pay for their crimes. Adieu brother. And I pray God give ur family d fortitude to bear this great loss.
