“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
Habits are the secret behind failures and successful people. Habits are the consistent practices of people; things they have repeatedly done to the point where it no longer takes effort to do them anymore.
If the habit is a positive habit, it will help the person to succeed, and if it is a negative one, then the person will ultimately land in failure no matter the prophecy over such a life; well except by divine intervention.
It is pertinent to know how habits are formed. There are many ways by which we develop habits in our lives, and one of such ways is by associations.
Proverbs 13:20 says to walk with the wise will make you wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
You will ultimately be involved in the practices of your friends or associates. It is not possible to have someone as a close friend and not be involved in his practices.
There is a powerful saying that I heard of that aptly explains the fact that your habit will end up spelling out or determining our destinies. It goes thus:
"The kind of association you keep, determines the choices you make, your choices determine your actions, your actions determine your habits, your habits determine your character and then your character determines your destiny".
Regardless of your dreams or any prophecy over your life, your habits and your character will determine your destiny. God will wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, but you have to determine your character to make it possible.
In achieving this, the first place to start is with your associations. When you choose a friend, you would have automatically chosen your destiny - It comes with the package.
Receive Wisdom to choose your friends wisely in Jesus Name. You shall fulfill destiny in Jesus Name.
Assignment
i. Cut off from your life today, any friend whose future you do not understand.
ii. Make some selection of wise friends from today.
Prayer
-Lord please teach me my responsibilities in the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus Name.
-Father please reveal all the things I do that can ruin my destiny in Jesus Name.
-I receive grace for the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus Name.
