John 1:1, 4-5 NKJV
“In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, which means that they are not
physical. But they are mighty through God to the pulling down of
strongholds and casting down of imaginations and every thought that
exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ; (2Corinthians 10:3-5).
One of such weapons of our warfare is the weapon of light.
The Bible has
described the word of God as light, and it says this light shines in
darkness and the darkness cannot do anything about it.
Darkness is
completely helpless in the face of light, even if it is the light from
one match stick. No matter how small the light may be, no darkness has
the capacity to successfully fight or resist light.
If this is true,
then no devil, sicknesses, pain or disease can successfully handle the
light that comes from the word of God. Let it be known that all that
represents ignorance, pain, sickness, lack, etc are all described by God
as darkness.
So, everything that has ever gone wrong in your life are
all described by the word, as "darkness", and the only answer for
darkness is light, period! The Bible says the light of the word of God
shines in darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend, resist, fight
against or overcome it.
Now know this also, for every darkness
situation in your life, there is a specific light from God's Spirit and
His word to overcome such darkness.
That is why the Bible says that the
entrance of His word gives light; Psalm 119:130. There is a light you
will catch that will end a particular sickness or situation in your life
just like that.
Hence, the Bible also says "arise shine, for your light
is come..." Isaiah 60:1. There is the light of the word in general
terms, but there is your own specific light as well.
It is only when
that light comes, that you will rise. People rise with light, because
without light, you will be seated and stagnated in one place.
My
wife and I had some difficulty in child bearing for almost four years,
and tests and investigations revealed that I was the one who had the
problem, due to hormonal imbalances and low sperm count amongst others.
The report was grim and dark, it was a typical case of darkness, but
while in a meeting one day I received light; it was my own light.
The
preacher said he didn't believe it was Abraham who impregnated Sarah,
and that Sarah herself had become a man, since it had ceased to be with
her after the manner of women.
He then went further to say that it was
the word of God that impregnated Sarah, according to Genesis 21:1-2. God
visited Sarah and did unto her as He had said, and not according to
Abraham's seed or sperm count.
Right there the Spirit of God amplified
the matter by reminding me of the birth of Jesus and the making of Adam,
both of which He did not need any human help by way of sperm or
anything like that. That same month, my wife conceived and we since had
three children in three years.
The light of that revelation expelled
that darkness once and for all. Praise God. Receive your own light today
in Jesus Name.

i. Embark on a massive hunt for the light of God's word for all the darkness you need to deal with in your life.
ii. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see light in God's word, and more specifically your own light.

For every darkness situation in your life, there is a specific light from God's Spirit and His word; go for that light.
