Two suicide bombers today attacked the University of Maiduguri premises
killing a security officer and injuring a soldier. According to reports,
the attack took place at about 1am at the Mechanical Works department
of the institution.
The attack was carried out by a male and female suicide bombers. The injured soldier has been taken to the University of Maiduguri Teaching hospital for medical attention while the remains of the security guard has been deposited at the morgue.
