Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Transport, Annex Office at Ikot Ekpene Road
(Former AKTC Terminal) has been shut down with a traditional injunction
by the host community demanding for financial compensation from the
Government for establishment the Government office in their community
without due consultation.
Meanwhile, the Honourable Commissioner in the Ministry, Hon. Orman Esin has said the government would not be deterred by the recent development as they remain resolute in their bid, to sanitising the transport sector in the State.
Mr Esin has urged well-meaning citizen of the state to go about their lawful activities as the situation has been put under control.
